Salman to play a ‘hatke role’in Mahesh Manjrekar’s next
Buzz is that, actor Salman Khan has accepted to play a tough character in Mahesh Manjrekar’s next flick. The bindaas Sallu will essay a character of a widower who is also the father of two kids.
According to reports the movie is a Hindi remake of Mahesh Manjrekar’s hit Marathi film Shikshanachya Aaicha Gho. Steeped in middle-class values, the film tells the story of a kid who hates to study but likes to play cricket. The father doesn’t approve of his son’s passion for the bat and wants him to do well in studies which can assure him a ‘secure future’. The rebellious son, however, doesn’t listen to his dad which leads his dad to take a strict action.
Salman, instantly liked the story and gave a go ahead.. A source tells a tabloid, “Sallu too used to abhor formal teaching in his youth and that’s why he can very well relate to the subject.”
Manjrekar too confirms the news and is quoted as saying, “Yes, Salman saw the Marathi film and loved it. He has never attempted something this middle-class before.”

‘Aisha’ music launch
Must say all the girls were dressed to kill. Sporting Dior Spring 10 dresses, the girls looked gorgeous, leaving us with nothing to complain. Loved Lisa’s pull back hair do.
Rhea looks so chic at the music launch of Aisha. Preferred her structured corporate look over Sonam’s Viviene Westwood esque flouncy look.
Thumbs up to Rhea for styling all her characters, and yet looking so chic herself!
Sonam did look gorgeous, but must say her sis over shadowed her.
Gotta confess that daddy Kapoor looks so handsome even now that you can miss the daughters for him.
The event was held at tote, Mahalaxmi race course. Other celebrities present at the Audio Launch were Javed Akhtar, Amit Trivedi and Lilette Dubey.
